Hi,
I have found a few very interesting privacy respecting custom ROMs and phones. I think it would be great if you guys let me know what you think, and maybe add a few of these to the websites as well!
Custom ROMs:
CopperheadOS: https://copperhead.co/android/ Hardened Android, competitor of GrapheneOS. It is unfortunate that it's paid though.
/e/ OS: https://e.foundation/e-os/ - A complete, fully “deGoogled”, mobile ecosystem. This custom ROM comes with a very nice UI that looks like IOS too, would be great to help users transition over from Apple spyware
Iode: https://iode.tech/en/iodeos-installation/ - Privacy Respecting Custom ROM with adblocking based on LineageOS
Phones:
VollaPhone: https://volla.online/en/index.html Great phone, seems to work well with Ubuntu Touch from YouTube videos too. If you don't like it, you can choose the variant with the degoogled Android. I think being able to use Linux on a modern phone is super cool, so we can avoid big tech control in the mobile space.
BraX2 Phone: https://brax.me/prod/host.php?f=_store&h=rob&p= Brand new custom built degoogled phone by the privacy expert Rob Braxman on YouTube. He seems really knowledgable and trustworthy, so his phone is probably great too. Still big tech Android, but at least it's degoogled.
