Using an alternative, open source and privacy-friendly launcher, either for Android or a derivative (such as Graphene, Calyx or Lineage) can be an additional layer of protection for privacy on mobile devices. In privacy.do they have a list of launchers. I propose to take a look at the ones already listed, investigate some new ones, and maybe include a listing in PrivacyTools.
Personally I use OLauncher, and it hasn't given me any problems.
