Railway is a new privacy wallet integrated with RAILGUN which is a privacy system built directly on-chain for Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and soon Solana and NEAR.
It is the first app of any kind with an EVM-capable zk-SNARK prover that enables completely private transactions on-chain. Funds never leave the security of the user’s preferred chain. There are no bridges or layer 2 validator sets. This means your funds are always yours and none of your information is leaked.
The Railway Wallet enables users to access all liquidity ecosystems that already exist on-chain. The experience is very similar to using MetaMask or other public wallets.
Railway makes it feasible for DeFi projects to easily build privacy directly into their protocols.

Once your funds are shielded, you are able to transact completely anonymously.
Shielding is the process whereby funds enter the wallet’s private 0zk address from the public 0x address. Once funds are in the 0zk address, users can send, swap, and interact with DeFi privately. Any token that exists on the public blockchain can be shielded, including any ERC-20 as well as ERC-721s (NFTs)
