What about Mailfence?

Thunderbird suggests it if you try to make an email with it. Seems solid, and it would be nice to have an email alternative to Proton (their ad spam is getting annoying) and Tutanota (since they only allow one account per user).

bodab97787 I have taken a look at it, and it looks interesting, we will investigate it further in the future, but at first glance it is a potential software to add to our list.
Regarding Proton, I believe you can remove the "Spam" or update and service notifications from your account settings, in the account settings, under Basics > Control Panel > Email Subscriptions. About Tutanota, no idea, I don't use Tutanota too much.

Fox Unfortunately, even with all email subscriptions turned off, Proton still sends emails. Just a few days ago I received one about the Proton app. They're starred too, and I didn't have any success filtering them.

Perhaps even more unfortunate is the fact that Mailfence requires a recovery email to create a new account. Maybe not a huge issue, but it is a very big annoyance for me at least.
