The Notion Situation

I know Notion is a privacy hazard but it is just so damn good to use!

I have experience in digital privacy and am trying something new called "differential privacy," which increases convenience with minimal impact to privacy.

Here is my structure:
My personal notes are stored in Apple Notes with a lock added on it (which makes it e2ee).
My notes for school (which sometimes contain notes that I already share to the public) is stored on Notion, because it is easy to organize, faster and more stable.

I want you guy's opinion, is this ok or am I missing something?

TarBall Of course, freedom comes first (for me, at least). If you feel good using that method and those softwares, go ahead, you are free. Just be very aware that none of the software, and therefore, your method, is not compatible with the protection of your privacy. Of course I would recommend you to use some alternative software similar to Notion, some examples could be Notesnook, Cryptee and Standard Notes, or even Skiff Pages could be an option to consider, but I insist, freedom comes first, so do what you want or you consider
more convenient.

What kind of "lock" are you talking about?
You want to encrypt your daily notes using a third-party app?

If it is convenient for you, go ahead and do it.

Your threat model, though, is what determines everything.
