Luckily privacy conscious users have plenty of choices when it comes to privacy respecting search engines. But which one gives in your opinion the best results?

The Swisscows search engine is really great, we use it with the whole family and it really provides the promised protection! Especially I like the preview function, which shows me in the search results all existing trackers on the searched page.

Nothing beats Startpage, since they are just proxy for Google.

coolhead I've tried startpage but just don't like that they are owned by an ad company, i mostly use meteger and searx and some times brave. I feel with meteger they have been around for a while and are a non profit and are clear on what info they collect. So i am more inclined to trust them.

How about Presearch? They don't seem to have trackers, are open-source and in the default setting don't track search behavior, according to their White Paper.
